The fleetinsight™ vehicle tracking system fleet management tool maintains
records of your drivers and your vehicles and alerts you when significant dates
or administration milestones are about to be reached e.g. service intervals, vehicle
tax, MOT and insurance renewal dates etc.
Fleet Management can also be used to set up the KPI data against which you can measure
your fleet's performance. Central to the FM services is the ability to define categories
of vehicles (e.g. HGV, local delivery, sales van etc.) and driver roles (e.g. salesman,
delivery driver, long distant trunk driver etc.). Often only one of these dimensions
is required depending on the nature of the services provided.
Against each vehicle category and driver role the target KPI data is set up, for
example: target, daily mileage, number of visits, driving time and time on-site.
Drivers and vehicles can then be assigned to roles and categories.
fleetinsight™ uses the gps vehicle tracking data to compare and report on
the performance of the fleet against the defined targets. It uses it to predict
mileage based service and administration milestones and send automatic alerts to
the responsible users by email.
Use the Fuel Calculator to estimate your cost and CO2 savings when you install fleetinsight™.
A truck travelling 100,000 miles will save approximately 6% fuel after the installation
of fleetinsight™. This results in a cost saving of approximately £3,510
whilst generating 10.26 tonnes less CO2.
