Health & Safety

The most important influence in reducing fuel costs and accidents in any fleet is the driver. A central feature of the fleetinsight™ vehicle tracking system is that it monitors key driving style factors such as hard acceleration and braking, speeding, excessive engine idling, mobile phone usage and long journeys.

Real Time Alerts

Real time alerts are based on both the legal obligations of the fleet operator and its drivers and the company's policies and KPIs. The alert triggers can be configured to meet the targets of the company with sub-grouping by vehicle type and driver role.

Real time alert helps the fleet operator to maintain his duty of care as an employer by warning him when his drivers exceed their time limits or of dangerous operating occurrences and driving styles. By being alerted to these events the fleet operator can take immediate control to minimise possible damage and costs. Through graded driver performance reporting, fleetinsight™ can reduce accidents and vehicle servicing and improve fuel efficiency by up to 15%.
